The institute offers a range of courses covering the fundamentals of engineering for various degree programs at Clausthal University of Technology. These include lecture series on thermodynamics and heat transfer. In addition, advanced courses are offered in the following subject areas:
- Energy Process Engineering, High-Temperature Engineering with a focus on hydrogen technology
- Thermodynamic modeling and simulation for materials and process design, with a special focus on energy-efficient materials processing
- Polymer thermodynamics as a core discipline for the energy-efficient recycling of plastics in the context of the circular economy
- Reactive flows and nonlinear model reduction using machine learning approaches
- Sustainability assessment of energy technologies using Environmental Life Cycle Assessment (LCA)
