Visitors from the State Legislature

State legislators Marie Kollenrott and Pippa Schneider, both members of Alliance 90/The Greens, visited the IEVB.

State Parliament members Marie Kollenrott (spokesperson for energy and climate protection) and Pippa Schneider (spokesperson for higher education policy), both from Alliance 90/The Greens, visited the IEVB to learn about research on energy and heat storage as well as sustainable energy supply.

Agnes Lindmüller, a research assistant and doctoral candidate, gave a presentation on her work regarding hydrogen combustion for CO2-neutral electricity generation in gas turbine plants as part of Lower Saxony’s innovation lab “Sustainable Hydrogen Combustion Concepts (WaVe).” The lawmakers were also shown the experimental combustion chamber where Ms. Lindmüller is conducting experiments with natural gas-hydrogen mixed flames.
