The research focuses on the following areas:
- Fundamentals and improvement of convective heat transfer
- Optimization and design of process equipment and systems for energy-related processes
Application Areas
- Development of processes for CO2-neutral thermochemical material conversion
- Adaptation and optimization of heat pump systems
Current Research Focus:
- Basic research in the field of experimental and theoretical heat transfer, particularly in multiphase flows
- Experimental and numerical studies on NOx formation in hydrogen flames
- Development of models for the design of methane pyrolysis reactors
